Give your AI agents a direct line into Regzact. Our MCP server exposes the full power of Regzact, letting your in-house agents query and manage your organisation’s regulatory compliance in real time — working with live records, not yesterday’s export.
MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is an open standard, for connecting AI applications to the systems where work actually happens. Think of it as a common socket: any agent that supports MCP can plug in to any MCP server.
The host is the application a person uses — a desktop assistant, a chat tool, an IDE or an in-house agent. Inside it, an MCP client holds the connection to each server the user has added.
An MCP server sits in front of a system — here, Regzact — and describes what an agent is allowed to do with it, in a form the model can understand and call.
Tools are named operations with defined inputs: search a register, read a partner file, create a task, update a record. The agent chooses which tool to call and with what inputs.
Resources are the records and documents a server makes available as context, so the model answers from your data rather than from what it learned in training.
Servers can also offer prompt templates for common jobs, so a repeated task — a weekly review, a board summary — runs the same way each time.
Because MCP is a shared protocol, one server works with many AI applications. There is no need for a separate bespoke integration for every assistant your firm tries.
Without MCP, an assistant only knows what you paste into it. With MCP, it can look things up and take action in the systems you already use — developers connect code repositories, sales teams connect CRMs, finance teams connect ledgers.
The agent reads the record as it is now. There is no spreadsheet export going out of date on someone’s desktop, and no confidential file pasted into a chat window.
Where a server exposes write tools, the agent can complete the step it has just recommended — log the entry, raise the task, send the reminder.
An agent can hold connections to several servers at once, so it can combine compliance data from Regzact with, say, email or a policy administration system in a single task.
The Regzact MCP server covers the full functionality of Regzact. Whatever your compliance team can do in the app, an agent connected on their behalf can query or manage through MCP.
Add the Regzact MCP server to an MCP-compatible AI application and sign in to your organisation.
The agent receives the list of Regzact tools and what each one does — across every app on the platform.
Ask a question the way you would ask a colleague. The agent picks the tools, reads the current records, and answers from Regzact.
Ask the agent to act, and it creates or updates the record in Regzact — so the result sits on the same audit trail as work done in the app.
Each insurance use case below maps to a Regzact app. It shows what an agent can query, what it can manage, and the kind of request an insurance compliance team might make.
Insurers and MGAs carry responsibility for the partners they distribute through. An agent can keep that oversight moving between reviews.
“Which of our brokers haven’t returned this year’s oversight questionnaire? Chase each one and give me a list by region.”
Fitness & Probity in Ireland and SM&CR in the UK both depend on accurate, current records for every relevant person.
“Who has certification falling due in the next 60 days, and which of them still have missing qualification evidence?”
Boards and regulators expect a current view of compliance risk, not last quarter’s snapshot.
“Summarise our highest-scoring risks and every overdue action for the risk committee pack.”
Registers carry mandated clocks — complaint response times, breach notification windows — that are easy to miss.
“Which open complaints are within five working days of a deadline? Draft the holding updates for my review.”
Questionnaires, audits and regulator requests all start with “show us the document”.
“Answer this capacity provider’s due-diligence questionnaire from our policies, and list any questions we have no evidence for.”
Consumer Duty in the UK and the Consumer Protection Code in Ireland both require evidence of how customers were treated.
“Screen this list of new policyholders against UK and EU sanctions, and show me only the matches that need a human decision.”
AI Compliance Studio assesses compliance against the rules and best practice. Through MCP, those findings can drive the agent’s next steps.
“Where are we weakest against the Consumer Protection Code 2025? Create an action for each gap and assign it to the owner.”
Because one server covers the whole platform, an agent can join the dots between apps. A monthly compliance review might run like this.
New complaints, errors and breaches, with any that breached a response or notification deadline.
Group the events by broker or MGA, and flag partners with rising volumes or open oversight actions.
Reflect the pattern in the relevant risk scores and raise mitigating actions with owners.
Produce a summary for the compliance committee from the records — for a person to review and approve.
Letting an AI act on compliance data needs the same controls as letting a person do it.
An agent connects on behalf of a signed-in Regzact user and works within that user’s organisation and role-based permissions. It cannot see or change what the user could not.
Records created or updated through MCP live in Regzact, alongside everything else, so the firm can still show what was done and when.
Use agents to gather, draft and chase. Keep regulatory judgements — whether to notify, uphold or certify — with the accountable person.
